Reading book vocabulary: Madame Doubtfire

Childish: Appropiate for a child, immature.
Flirting: Try to seduce.
Nodded: Moved the head up and down to mean yes.
Appointment: A meeting at a particular time and place.
Arguing: Fighting.
Handwriting: A person's style of writing.
Sweat: Moisture coming through the skin.

I have done a powerpoint presentation of Las Vegas with Miguel.

Fried eggplant (for 1 or 2 people).

We need:
- Some garlic powder
- Some parsley
- Some oregano
- Some olive oil
- An eggplant

Directions
1.- Cut the eggplant into slices.  









2.- Put the chopped eggplant on a plate and flavor the eggplant with the garlic powder, the parsley, the oregano and the olive oil.











3.- Drop the eggplant into a frying pan and wait.








4.- Now the eggplant is ready to serve.

Mugger: Person who attacks you in the street and take something from you.
Burglar: Person who enters in your house and steal some staff
Arson: setting fire to property.

Functional Language

I suggest (I, you, we, etc.)... / Why don't we...? / Let's... / Shall we...? / We could... (+ infinitive)
What about...? / How about...? (+ -ing)
I'm happy to... (+ infinitive)
That sounds like a good plan / great idea.
That works for me / doesn't works for me.
That's not a bad idea, but how about...? (+ -ing)
That could be a bit difficult. What about...? (+ -ing)
How does that sounds?
Do we all agree?
Is everyone happy to go with that idea?

Unit 1:
- Compulsory: obligatory.
- Ought = Should
Confident: sure of oneself.
